I've been using dot5 for a few years now. The servers are reliable, and i've had very little downtime. The customer service is actually pretty responsive. Of course, it doens't matter what you are asking for, the answer is always "please email tech support with your request and they will take care of it." They can't do anything over the phone or over chat, only through tech support email. What they can do over chat is tell you that the features they advertise (such as IMAP email access) they really don't offer.
Right on their front page it says 5000 pop/imap email accounts. But guess what? NO IMAP. No secure POP email either, nor secure password authentication, even though they claim to have this in five different places on their website. What's so difficult about adding security?
I also don''t care for the webmail system they offer. It works fine though but its a teeny bit buggy. Otherwise they're fine. Cheap, lots of space, etc. You do get what you pay for, but the servers are usually up.
